We are so delighted to announce that we are hosting a tour for Now That I’ve Found You by Kristina Forest.
I was drawn to Kristina Forest’s sophomore novel due to it revolving around familial relationships. My grandma is one of the most special people in my life. She is certainly not a movie star, but as her first grandchild I know that many look to me to follow in her footsteps to become an educator. I definitely inherited my love for teaching from watching her teach and supporting her community. I think that Now That I’ve Found You will touch upon themes that aren’t extensively explored in YA: the relationship of grandmothers and grandchildren, while in the context of a romantic adventure.

We are so excited to be able to offer a tour for Star Daughter by Shveta Thakrar! Since this is a quick turnaround time, please be sure to sign up as soon as possible!
As someone who used to work with children and teens within this demographic I’ve experienced firsthand the joy these stories bring to young readers. My students would always share what they were reading with me and explain how each book represented them. Star Daughter would be a great opportunity for readers such as my students to see themselves in fantastical adventures while reading about aspects of their culture.

Our next book tour is Dating Makes Perfect by Pintip Dunn! We lowkey lost it in the chatroom over this one! So I’m here to share it with you today 💜
This is a book that caught my eye due to its family dynamics and dating themes.
I enjoy rom com books especially when it includes family and relationships between siblings. I can relate to the older siblings’ experience with dating as my parents were selective with the people I dated. I am also looking forward to the enemies to lovers trope as it is one of my favorites to read + we are so here for the Thai representation that I don’t feel like we get to see enough of!
