Hello friends!
We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting a book tour for Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko!
Every tour we will be sharing with you why we advocated for the books that we represent and it’s my turn today 🙂 🙌🏾
Not only is Ifueko a debut author in the YA fantasy genre, but seeing an African-inspired fantasy with a young female protagonist struggling to find her place in the world is so reflective of how me and so many other Black young women feel. Too often are Black women forced to choose between one extreme over the other, when in reality we have proven time and again that we have the courage, strength, and dedication to choose what WE want. WE have that power over ourselves, and seeing Tarisai’s journey of self-discovery in this world will allow us to find our place in a genre that for many years has never seen us as worthy of our own stories.

We can’t wait for you to be a part of this tour! We are looking for Nigerian-American and/or Black #OwnVoices reviewers. If that’s you, be sure to fill out the form here. If you know someone that identifies as either Nigerian-American or Black, please pass along this information so they can see if they are interested.
Remember, we have 30 spots open for all tours, and our goal is to have the tour consist of #OwnVoices reviewers.
